On February 21, the Leleka Foundation and EPAM Ukraine, the Ukrainian division of the IT company EPAM, launched a partnership named "Backpacks of life".
EPAM Ukraine is allocating $300,000 for the project's implementation during 2024.
With these funds, our charity foundation will equip and distribute 300 medical backpacks containing modern life-saving equipment such as tourniquets, chest seals, hemostatic gauze, and bandages to specialists in combat zones. This initiative aims to enhance pre-hospital care for at least 3,000 wounded individuals.
The project also includes the creation of educational materials showcasing the work of military medics, including interviews, reports, and short videos highlighting the backpack and its contents.
